Herbs and Spices Inventory Checklist
My husband loves to cook, particularly international cuisine. We like to call him things like Chef Jeff and Mr. Spice Guy because of his knack for perfectly executing complex, delicious cuisine in his first try. I am thrilled about this hobby of his, because my cooking skills leave something to be desired at times.
Look at just a few of his delicious creations:

Since Mr. Spice Guy is always cooking new things, he likes to keep our spice cabinet well stocked. The problem we have (as I’m sure many of you out there have as well) is that we end up with multiple spices and herbs because we thought we were out, but in reality the little nutmeg or bay leaves were shoved way in the back, or stuck under the bouillon cubes.
So, we came up with this little inventory. It is intended to hang on the door of your spice cabinet, preferably laminated or in a pocket page so you have the ability to mark and erase as needed, and at a glance know what you have available. Included are little tabs to cut out and stick onto the item you are running low on, to remind you to pick up a replacement.
We included most of the common items that you would find in your house. We plan to do different versions, catered toward world regions, as well as a baking inventory as well. But for now, here’s this one to print and take inventory of your herbs and spices!
