Long ago we had this crazy yet wonderful idea to go on a Mediterranean cruise before we start to consider having more kids. Soon, my brother and his wife were on board (ha) and we all booked a 7 night European cruise! An of course the idea of all of us young, adventurous young adults running and skipping around Italy only made me want to create several arts, but I ended channeling my enthusiasm through travel poster.

It didn’t turn out exactly how I’d have liked.  I was hoping to make it more vintagey and designy, but it’s still fun and exciting.  If I ever have a single free moment in my life I may try again, but this is good enough for now.

This was a mixed media project, started as a hand-drawn sketch, which I scanned in and colored in Illustrator with vectors. I added details and shading/highlights in Photoshop.
