Digital Art Lessons
Digital Art Lessons:
• Students will learn the basics of digital art through various programs such as Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator, Sketchbook Pro, Lightroom, etc.
• Curriculum will include principles of design, typography, digital illustration, layout, photo editing, graphics tablet training and much more.
• Proficiency in these programs is extremely beneficial for almost any future career or hobby.
• Lessons are tailored to each student’s interests or skill set (drawing, vector art, etc.) and that makes the experience extra fun when you are drawing/illustrating/creating things you are passionate about.
Requirements:
It is required that my students have access to a graphics tablet and a computer. iPads and other tablets are not adequate for practice. You can find several affordable student options on amazon.com or at Best Buy. I recommend the brand Wacom. I’d be happy to help you find a tablet that suits you budget and needs.
We will be working with mostly Adobe applications (mostly Illustrator and Photoshop). Students with an ID are able to get a big discount on these products, which I am also happy to help you look into.
Another program I use is Autodesk Sketchbook, which recently became free for everyone! Find more information here: https://sketchbook.com/
Scheduling and Payments:
Lessons are held in my home design studio in Lehi. I have flexible schedule, so let’s find a time that works for you! Payments are made for the whole month’s lessons and are due at the first lesson of the month (via Venmo, Paypal, Cash App, or cash). There are no refunds for missed lessons, but make-up lessons may be scheduled.
